We created a cheerful, easy-going logo for a musician that performs at children's parties. The type had to appeal to adults but still be perceived as "kid friendly". We also decided on a color system that was unisex and lively, but not overly predictable.

The City Adventure Official Logo

The client required an identity that included bright eye-popping colors and a visual that was easy to understand. We created a logo that used the strong Novecento Wide san-serif font. Then we sized the logotype to feel like it was coming off the page, and was larger than the space it occupied. We also highlighted "adventure" in the logotype. The result was a clean and clear identity that could transfer easily for growth to other city markets and emphasized the energy of the brand.

FOLD! is an investigation of creases, pleats, curves and computational patterns in all aspects of design. The notions of origami and flexibility of material are continually revisited, inspiring designers by a multifaceted and dynamic nature. The installation features work from Preston Scott Cohen, Fish Design Lab, origami artist Paul Jackson, Elizabeth Delfs, and others.

Event Logo: The design came from the idea of emphasizing the student voice as an integral part of the BSA. Adding the image of water in the word cloud reflected the BSA move to the waterfront district. The BSA twitter handle and hashtag #StudentDesignShowcase was also included in the logo echoing the new digital capabilities of the new space, and encouraging people to tweet and engage with the BSA before, during, and after the event.

A small budget and strict regulations on what could be displayed in the space gave way to the solution of environmental window graphics as a way to brand the event.
